Here's to the new-look Metro Plus and The Hindu!

...Just like the Hindustan Times!
Oops. But if you pay a Cuban designer a lot of money to do this you don't really want everyone to screw up their noses and go, "Ew, this looks like nothing on Earth" now, do you? And hey, if you hire the same designer as the Hindustan Times then what do you expect?!
With the new look comes a new supplement - just for Day One. In case you didn't notice that the look, colours, font, layout, add-ons had changed, the supplement devotes one entire page to each change.
So a whole page says 'New Colour' and shows you the different colours for each of the supplements. Another whole page says 'Bold typeface' and has arrows coming out of example articles detailing their font. '----> Sans Serif', '----> Virginia Tallis' (um, whatever) and so on. Just in case you didn't notice. And just in case you're up most nights trying to figure out just what that typeface on your newspaper's headlines really is. But in the end, it's all good!
