Fashion correspondent gets set

Don't you just hate it when you scrub your face, comb your hair, generally spruce yourself up, go to get a passport picture taken, and the man looks at you cursorily, and waves an arm, "why don't you comb your hair in the dressing room there, madam?" Hmph.
My visa needs not just one but three pictures of me (looking like someone's holding a gun to my head). Got all my stuff ready though and now I can begin to prepare for the actual trip, by doing exhaustive research.
Or even just basic research. Like, for instance, who is Sonam Dubal with whom I have a 10:30 a.m. interview on Day 3? Since I've stopped being a bewildered and mildly amused lifestyle reporter and have now suggested my second analytical fashion story I just better "look sharp" as Sugandhi says.
Right.

Also, my Karwar pics have come. I look pretty and shy and Mo looks... well, chubby! But kinda cute. I have one pic I want to put up as soon as I know how.

The SP rally is on, as I write, and huge cutouts of Bangarappa have managed to make him look, really I'm not kidding, like Rajnikant. I noticed on my way to work, when I also had to pull over since Girish K called to "of course" he'd love to come to The Hindu theatre fest. :)

Also Amitabh is here and so is Anjalli. So I might actually not be home reading on Saturday night. Wow. Wonder what that feels like. Here I come, glitter eye shadow!
